FWRmedia is led by Robert Fisher, a Zend Certified Engineer with over 19 years of experience in the PHP ecosystem. Unlike many in the field, Robert’s path didn’t begin in a lecture theatre, but in the fast-paced world of business-to-business sales and advertising. This unique background ensures that at FWRmedia, we don't just write code; we build solutions that serve a commercial purpose.

From Hobbyist to Certified Professional

The FWRmedia story began in 2007. What started as a deep interest in developing modules for platforms like osCommerce and Simple Machines evolved into a full-time consultancy. By 2013, after years of building EPOS systems and bespoke e-commerce functionality, Robert transitioned into contract work for a time before joining Mobas Ltd as a lead backend developer.

When not architecting Drupal modules or tuning Docker clusters, Robert is a keen follower of motor racing and a Porsche enthusiast—interests that reflect a broader appreciation for precision engineering and performance.

FWRmedia was founded on the principle that small and medium-sized organisations deserve the same level of technical rigour as global enterprises. Having spent 19 years in the trenches of backend engineering, my goal is to bring that "Lead Developer" oversight to businesses across the East of England.

We specialise in taking the "Technical Debt" out of established platforms—stabilising infrastructure, securing codebases, and ensuring that your digital systems are built to scale.
